I often hear people complain about not having the resources (human, economic, educational, technological, etc.) to achieve their goals, but generally that is just an excuse.
There are a number of principles and strategies that can change that problem forever. I give you these tips that I have learned from experience:
1. Take advantage of what you have!
Learning to manage and optimize your resources to the maximum is more important than "having a lot of resources". There will always be resources available and many times what you have is not being used to its fullest potential.
2. Vision + Planning = Success
A great idea or "vision" is not enough, you need to create a Plan to execute the vision. When you have a well-structured plan, it is easy to present it and get others interested in it.
3. A good plan attracts resources
The partners you need, the team of brilliant people you need, the opportunities you are looking for, come when you have a clear plan and focus on carrying it out.
4. God as a priority
Obedience to God comes with His blessing, provision, connections, and ability, and that doesn't compare to what you can accomplish alone! Ask Him to show you His will.
5. Creativity has no limits!
Think differently and use your creativity to find innovative ways to solve problems. Maybe you don't need an investor but an alliance or contact ... or license someone else's software for your app ... or sublease someone else's temple for your church.
The list goes on! but I don't want to saturate you with information ...
I just want to tell you not to limit yourself if you don't have any resources. Have faith, be creative and diligent, learn what you need to know and lean on the resources and experiences of others and you will see how suddenly, you have access to all the resources you need!
