- The key to access the Heavenly Riches - Part 2: How to handle Money

When speaking about money, we have a lot of topics to consider.  Unfortunately, many churches are the worst administrators of money for the way they handle it, as they lack of financial structures, and a budget.  I listened to Joyce Meyer recently and she said:  "If you don't respect money, don't expect money".  If we can't take care and administer it, then, we can't expect that it multiplies. God is not going to multiply it because he will not give us more money to waste it on our own whims or simply lose it, because it is a resource, and although God is the owner of gold and silver, He is not a bad administrator that gives money away to see what we end up doing with it.

The churches that we have seen prosper a lot in this area is because they have been good administrators:  they take good care of money, know how to use it and respect it. Respect is not the same as fearing or giving it more value that it really has, but to know how to spend it.  If we fail in this area, we will have to learn: have someone teach us how to administer, with books, courses, another pastor or leader of other organizations, or a successful businessman.  Businessmen are a perfect example of who can help us manage and administer churches: how to handle personnel, budgets, and forecasts.  Businessmen have wisdom in handling great amounts of money and have been able to multiply it.  That's why we need people who love God and have these abilities in our churches. 

If we know how to handle money, then not only will we see how God can provide us with more money, but He will also provide the Heavenly riches.  Once more, in the end, people are what's worth.  God gives us to opportunity to take care of them.  But if we don't demonstrate God that we are capable of taking care of money, how is He going to give us the people?

If we take good care of money, God is going to give us His treasures, His people, because we can take care of the wordly wealth.   Then, God will give us the eternal:  His fresh Word, His Anointment; people need to listen to Him and find Him.  God will give us His people when we learn to administer these things.  Let's not be anxious in growing if we can't put order in this resource.  God wants to take out the limitation, but we need to respect money for God to give it to us.

These are simple principles of the Kingdom.  There are pastors who have been proven in this area and see the fruit:  "growth".  If we take care and respect the resources that God has given us, then He will give His people, His best treasure.  God doen't want to give you people to be manipulated and to take their money away and perhaps with no bad intention, simply because you haven't learned to administer and manage the resources.  If you don't learn this, it's going to be worse with people.  If we can't administer, then people come and we put them to do things they don't have to do; we make them waste their time in what's not worth and not in what God sent them to do, because we haven't learned to administer.   

Let's take care of this and we will se how God entrusts us with more important things because money is useful, but it is not the most important thing, and time is useful too, but it's in the hands of God.  People are the most valuable treasure, people are what God loves and the reason why we all live, to serve His people and take them to eternal life with Him and He is not going to give them to us if we don't respect the other to things, Time and Money.
