Three keys to be relevant communicators in these determining times

Remember, God wants to do great things through us. You and I are God’s ambassadors. We are the speakers, messengers, and prophets of what He is speaking to His church and to this world. God wants to raise communicators full of faith, authority, and truth to disrupt this society. 

1.   AUTHORITY AND BOLDNESS

The first key is to remember that we have authority and that we must be courageous. Let´s take a look at Jeremiah 1: 9-10 (NIV): “Then the Lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “I have put my words in your mouth. See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.” This Word has impacted my life over the years because as God’s messengers in these times, we are called to destroy and overthrow many messages and ideologies that the world is unfortunately communicating so effectively. It’s our time as Christian communicators to plant and build upon the values and principles of the Word of God.

Today, more than ever, we need to be communicators who are relevant and with authority, courageous and effective to deliver the message. We also have to be aware of the times and cultural context that we are living in, and be instruments to destroy every lie, and to build and raise a culture that impacts, and exalts and glorifies God.

2.   WISDOM AND CREATIVITY

The second key is that there is wisdom and creativity set apart for us. Let’s take a look at 1 Corinthians 2:7, 9. Verse 7 reads: “we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began.” And verse 9 reads as follows: “However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”  the things God has prepared for those who love him.”

I am sure that this is the time when God will awake in us new ideas and creativity like never before, a heavenly wisdom, which is not acquired with theoretical knowledge, but through an intimate relationship with God. There, in the secret, God will impart us and bring new ideas, new ways of doing things, new projects that will impact, and also new ways of communicating, connecting and getting closer to people to deliver a message that transforms lives. I believe that in the next years, we will see innovations that were never seen or imagined coming out from the sons and daughters of God like you. 

3.   FAITHFULNESS

And finally, the third key is related to faithfulness. It is essential that we keep on being faithful to God’s call, to that vision or dream that He sowed in our hearts. Proverbs 25:13 reads: “Like a snow-cooled drink at harvest time is a trustworthy messenger to the one who sends him; he refreshes the spirit of his master.” When we are doing what God sent us to do, He will trust us and use us in a more powerful way and will send those resources like money, technology or people that we need to fulfill our calling. God wants to give us more ideas, more projects, more exposition, greater platforms.
